Terms of Service — FarmPass

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using FarmPass. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The service

FarmPass is an online marketplace that connects visitors with farm operators near Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We facilitate bookings but are not ourselves a farm operator. Farm experiences are provided by independent third-party farmers ("Hosts").

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a FarmPass account and make bookings. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Visitors under 18 may attend farm experiences when accompanied by an adult account holder.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bookings and payments

All bookings are subject to availability and Host approval.
Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable GST.
Payment is processed securely via Razorpay. By completing a booking you authorise the charge.
A booking is confirmed only upon successful payment and confirmation from us.
FarmPass charges a platform service fee on each booking, visible at checkout.

5. Cancellations and refunds

The following cancellation policy applies to all bookings unless a Host specifies otherwise:

48+ hours before visit: full refund to original payment method.
24–48 hours before visit: 50% refund.
Less than 24 hours before visit: no refund.
Host cancellation: full refund plus a ₹100 goodwill credit for a future booking.

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Contact us at hello@farmpass.in for cancellation requests.

6. Host responsibilities

Hosts are responsible for:

Accurately representing their farm, activities, and amenities.
Maintaining a safe environment for visitors.
Holding any permits or licences required for agri-tourism activities.
Honouring confirmed bookings. Repeated cancellations may result in suspension.

7. Visitor responsibilities

Arrive on time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened experience without refund.
Respect the farm, its crops, animals, and staff.
Follow safety instructions given by the Host at all times.
Do not damage property. You are liable for any damage caused by you or your group.
Children must be supervised by accompanying adults at all times.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

Use FarmPass for any unlawful purpose.
Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews.
Circumvent the platform by contacting Hosts to book off-platform.
Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission.

9. Intellectual property

All content on FarmPass — including logos, design, text, and software — is owned by or licensed to FarmPass and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our written consent.

10. Limitation of liability

FarmPass is a marketplace and is not liable for the actions or omissions of Hosts, including accidents, injuries, or property damage that occur during a farm visit. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant booking.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that farm listings will always be accurate and up to date.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of FarmPass after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
